VR Simulator for train drivers

While we have been invested in the Virtual Reality sector for almost 2 years, we are constantly amazed by the impact and evolution that this new technology brings to a growing number of sectors. To the point that even the most sceptical are tempted one after the other by the advantages of immersive technologies. This particular project in the vocational training sector is a virtual training for future metro drivers and has the possibility to be enhanced with a number of updates to add fire training, new safety instructions, structural changes to the cab. The main idea was to offer a VR tool that not only allows immersion in the train cab, but also simulates touch through tactile interactions while driving. The cab and the train being relatively old models and therefore very mechanical, we have built a scenario based on the importance of dexterity and the timing of the user. We are very proud to be able to contribute to this change in the training of metro drivers, a method that has not or only slightly changed in 40 years...
